To buy well, you need to get as much information as possible about the property. And the real estate agent who is selling will (hopefully) have a lot of this to give you. 

Asking good questions to the agent is one way to get further information. 

But be prepared for slightly evasive answers around price.

You may need to ask a few different ways to get a straight answer.

Remember the agent gets paid by the vendor (seller) and therefore works for the vendor - not you the purchaser.
